The two artists recently crossed paths at SXSW and apparently talked out their issues like men. Now all is good. Quees recently posted a picture of himself and the Toronto rap-singer on Instagram, and both of them are all smiles. The caption reads, “Me and Watermelon Head down 4Life!”
This is the furthest thing from what people expected a few weeks ago when both entertainers were sending shots back on and forth on Twitter. It started with Jacquees, a Cash Money artist, sending a warning to other singers on the social networking site. “Chris[Brown] my idol/big bro he don’t count never will but you other guys im at yo throat #FuckHowYouFeel,” he posted.
This prompted Lanez to post two crying face emojis, and the friction was on. “Yo pen pretty dope bro but vocal wise Naaaaaa you R NOT fuckin wit the kid. @torylanez you tried it bro, keep hustling,” Jac wrote, followed by, “Yo watermelon head ass tried to act like you ain’t know me at Revolt now you tweet watching! Just follow me bro @torylanez.”
The music festival is lit once again this year with must-see performances and premieres from dozens of artists. Newly singed G.O.O.D. Music rapper Desiigner recently debuted a new track titled “Pluto”, while Nas broke out his J Dilla collab “The Sickness,” yesterday (March 18).
